Domestic Team Manager
Reporting to the project manager, to oversee all work carried out in terms of quality and technical compliance, whilst ensuring the project is running in line with agreed programme.
The Team Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of installation teams on domestic installations; they will have up to 8 teams to manage on daily basis and it is expected that they will be reviewing a % of their installations both during and post installation.
Either an Electrical or Roofing background is required for the role to ensure that the installations are being carried out to the required quality and standards.
The work will require daily communication with the operational team and our online processes so basic navigation of computers and electronic tablets.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Checking and reporting on the quality of installations for compliance with relevant codes of practice and Solarplicity methodology.
Ensuring site works are carried out in accordance with all applicable Health & Safety Company or legislative requirements including Accident, Incident and Near Miss reporting.
Weekly Toolbox talks with the installation teams to ensure they are aware of any local risks or concerns.
Provide onsite guidance and support for installation teams.
Proactive management of onsite issues relating to kit deliveries, access potential no-fits or technical issues.
Liaise with Tenant Liaison Officer and Project Manager to ensure any tenant related issues are resolved in a timely and appropriate manner.
Completion of daily reports to Project Manager to include site related issues, progress of installations and installation team related issues.
Ensuring that the installation teams are using the correct tools and equipment to carry out their works to the required standards.
Day to Day management of the planned work schedule to ensure that it is being adhered to and that any required alterations are correctly reported to the Project Manager.
Continuous appraisal of the ongoing development and concerns of the installation teams being reported to the Project Manager.
