Opus Energy is a well-established business to business energy supplier with current operations in Northampton, Oxford and Cardiff, employing over 850 people across multiple specialisms. In order to support the continued growth of the business we're looking to recruit a Project Manager to join our Project Portfolio Office, holding responsibility for the delivery of a number of exciting project streams throughout the organisation with an emphasis on IT change and development.

Responsible for a portfolio of projects varying in complexity and size, you will be able to establish close and effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders in order to set expectations, scope and budgets. The role will be responsible for overseeing project management quality, ensuring good communications with project sponsors and stakeholders, and responsible for seeing projects through from inception to closure.

The ideal candidate will possess formal qualifications within project management and will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in managing projects with an IT system as a deliverable. Any experience managing projects concerning PCI/Security and IT Compliance would also be advantageous. A background in both Waterfall and Agile project delivery is desirable as is experience working with Business Analysts, Developers and Testers within a Matrix environment. Due to the nature of our business, experience of managing regulatory projects and handling third party suppliers is desirable.
